What ATV sizes are available?
We have 4 sizes: Small ATV (ages 3+, $80/hr), Medium ATV (ages 10+, $120/hr), Big ATV (ages 14+, $140/hr), and XL ATV (ages 21+, $160/hr). All are single-rider off-road quads. 2-hour sessions are discounted.
What is the minimum age to ride an ATV?
Kids as young as 3 years old can ride our Small ATV. Ages 10+ can ride the Medium ATV, 14+ for the Big ATV, and 21+ for the XL ATV. All riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on-site.
Do I need experience to ride?
No experience is needed at all. Our staff gives every rider a full safety briefing before you head out. First-timers and beginners are completely welcome ”” the trails are designed to be fun for all skill levels.

Are there weight limits for the ATVs?
Yes ”” Small ATV: max 120 lbs. Medium ATV: max 200 lbs. Big ATV: max 250 lbs. XL ATV: max 450 lbs. These limits ensure safe operation. If you're unsure which ATV is right, call us and we'll help.
Are you open on weekends?
Yes ”” we're open 7 days a week, 10AM to 7PM, including weekends and most holidays. Book online for real-time availability and instant confirmation.
Can we also rent UTVs or go-karts at the same park?
Yes! 281 Country Club also offers UTVs and side-by-sides (2, 4, and 6-seat, ages 18+ to drive, starting at $180/hr) and off-road go-karts (ages 7+, starting at $100/hr). You can mix and match vehicles on the same visit.
Is this good for birthday parties and groups?
Absolutely ”” 281 Country Club is one of San Antonio's top spots for birthday parties, family outings, corporate events, and group adventures. We have ATVs for every age and covered pavilion rentals available.
What should I wear to ride an ATV?
Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dusty or muddy. Helmets are provided. Bring water and sunscreen in summer. The park is outdoors so dress for the weather.
Can rental ATVs go in the mud pits or water areas?
No ”” rental ATVs cannot go in the mud pits or water crossings. Those areas are reserved for BYO (bring your own vehicle) riders with a Day Pass. Rental ATVs stay on the designated rental trail system.
How early should I arrive for my ATV rental?
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. We'll check you in, fit your helmet, and give you a quick safety briefing. Most riders are on the trail within 10 minutes. Weekends fill up fast ”” booking in advance is recommended.
Do you offer group rates for ATV rentals?
